A hands-on workshop on human stem cell-derived, functional 3D brain organoids & assembloids

Supported by the Stanford Human Brain Organogenesis Program in the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute

​This one week-long practical course will provide training to 20 participants in all aspects of 3D in vitro study of neural development and disease modeling. 
​
Topics include: human stem cell maintenance, generation and assembly of 3D brain-region specific cultures, quality controls, assay implementations (viral infection, genetic engineering, functional imaging, electrophysiology, etc). 

The course will take place in new Stanford Neurosciences Building.
